Mike graduated from Tufts Univ. in 1998 with a BA in Music. He's been playing the saxophone for 14 years and his funky jazz project, Soleo, has performed at the Roxy, Roseland, Wetlands, and beyond. Soleo has recently finished its first studio album.
In the late 90's , Mike started working with NY house legend Joeski, providing sax for releases on Siesta, Credence, Maya and Big Chief. Mike was also featured on Alexi Delano's "That Sax Track" on Svek.
In 2003, Mike could be found engineering his own tracks, as well as jamming on sax, flute, and keys in collaboration efforts. Look for new tracks featuring Mike, including multiple projects on Blunted Funk collaborating with Sneak-E Pete, Jordan Vesteyo, Russell Vargas, and The Shift. Mike released an original three track Ep of funky breaks and downtempo funk on Citrona Records, and he licensed his track, "Shout Mable" to Groovy Gravy's NuJazz Sessions v2.
Mike will be getting the remix treatment from dj Enne on an upcoming Citrona Ep which will also feature De Riguer and Dr. Rubbafunk - coming in 2006.
