The electro-acoustic band Lotus, from Phily, has released Lotus Remixed on CD featuring slick reworks by DFA record's Juan Maclean, Dj Harry, and Scottie B.

The Corsican Brothers dropped their second 12" in August on MobBeats. It was caned for months by Jeno and Garth and showed up #1 on XLR8R's Lucky 13 chart. They wrote, "One of the hottest bootlegs of the year; rock breaks and space bass will rule your world." Dubbed out re-edits of the Texas rock band on everyone's mind right now, and a disco cover of WholeLottaLove; check Tweekin for copies.

Mike DeVellis is blowing up the airwaves, launching his own label, Pockit Records, to follow up his funky break on OM Records. Expect a new EP on Pockit in 2008, featuring a collaboration with Sneak-E Pete, and remix by Ed Royal and Dj Enne. Also catch his live band, Drexler, all over NYC.

BoingBoing was using Qburns' remix of 'Angel Soup' for the intro/outro music of their popular podcast.
